Daniel Hassett has been providing strategic advisory for office tenants for over 20 years and has completed over 300 leasing and sales transactions. Currently he is building Summit RE Partners, a commercial real estate brokerage firm focused on Office and Retail Tenant and Landlord representation. The mission of Summit is to elevate the tenant experience and deliver an inspirational office environment through 4 primary tenets: Trusted Strategy, Artful Negotiation, Beautiful Design and Effortless Relocation. Daniel began his career at Newmark and developed his skills over 12 years there. He has advised clients from a wide range of industries including education, entertainment, legal, financial, technology and government. In addition to representing tenants, Mr. Hassett has represented a number of prominent New York City landlords, including Atco Properties, Paramount Group, MacArthur Holdings, Winter Organization and RFR Holdings. David has a broad range of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Summit RE Partners, David practiced real estate law in New York and News Jerseyf or several years. David has counseled, consulted for and served as broker for a variety of institutional and entrepreneurial clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, dispositions, leases, conversions and financing. David also has real estate asset and facilities management experience, both from a direct ownership and portfolio company perspective. David earned a Masters certificate in Real Estate from NYU, a Juris Doctor from Fordham Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
